Birth Doula Service
In-person birth doula support provides calm, continuous presence during labor and birth, along with thoughtful preparation beforehand. This package is designed for families who want steady, grounded support during one of the most physically and emotionally intense experiences of life.
What’s Included:
Prenatal Preparation
- 1-2 prenatal planning visits (scheduled in advance)
- Support with birth preferences, comfort measures, and emotional preparation
On-Call Availability
- On-call beginning at 38 weeks gestation
- Continuous in-person support during active labor and birth
- On-call coverage through delivery
Labor and Birth Support
- Physical comfort measures
- Emotional reassurance and steady presence through labor, delivery, and after birth
- Partner support
- Advocacy when appropriate
- Collaboration with your care team
Post-Birth Check-In
- One postpartum follow-up check-in to help integrate the experience and answer early questions

- Availability is limited due to the on-call nature of birth work

Founded in 2022, DouLady is proud to be an independent woman-owned Louisville birth and postpartum doula service and resource for families, providing in-person birth and postpartum doula care in our local Kentuckiana community and offering virtual doula care across the United States.
